The Grow Obstetrics Difference
We are not only a team of female specialists, we are also mothers, so we can empathise with you at every stage of your pregnancy.
No obstetrician can work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All solo obstetricians have other obstetricians covering weekends, after-hours and planned holidays on an informal basis. Generally, you don’t meet the covering obstetrician until you are in labour.
At Grow Obstetrics, cover is provided from within our group and you are given the opportunity to meet all four of our obstetricians during your pregnancy. This allows a level of comfort with whichever obstetrician attends the birth of your baby.
How long do appointments take?
Your first appointment will take approximately 30 – 60 minutes and subsequent appointments usually take 15 minutes. All efforts are made to ensure our doctors run on time although due to the nature of our practice, they may occasionally run late or appointments may need to be rescheduled. Every effort will be made to contact you should this occur and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
Which hospitals do you attend?
We prefer to deliver at Epworth Freemasons Maternity on Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
Our rooms are located on the same floor as the birth suite and postnatal ward, providing rapid availability to you in emergencies.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, EFTPOS and cheque. Payment is preferred on the day of consultation.
